With the help of the “Remote Maintenance” tile under “Learning & Support”, problems with the interface can also be solved quickly and competently. For this purpose, the external software Teamviewer is used, with which an encrypted connection (ISO 27001 certified, encrypted with 256-bit AES) to a service employee can be established. He or she can then view your screen content and look at the problems together with you in order to solve them in a qualified manner. A click on the “Remote Maintenance” tile takes you directly to the main page of Teamviewer. The tile redirects you depending on your language selection. This means that you will be redirected to the German, English or French start page of Teamviewer, depending on the language you have set your browser to. There you download and install the software by clicking on the “Download” button at the top of the page.
Once the application is launched, you can either join a meeting or have a service representative remotely control your computer. In this case, you will need to give your ID and password to the service agent on the phone, who will then connect you and guide you through the interface.
Once the request is complete, you can disconnect and close Teamviewer; access to your computer is then no longer possible.
